Wiley Post, Harold Gatty, and F. C. Hall received much praise and celebration upon the completion of their record-breaking Post-Gatty World Tour after Wiley Post and his navigator, Harold Gatty flew around the world in just over eight days. As the sponsor of the trip, F. C. Hall received much publicity and many wanted to celebrate the achivements of the men. The Luncheon in honor of Wiley Post and Harold Gatty, the "Round-the-World-Flyers" at the Hotel Ritz Carlton in New York City had Wiley Post and Harold Gatty speak to the event honoring them as well as F. C. Hall, with the program itself serving as proof. |
