[Top] 10-Day World Hop to Start in May OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 19 This city was chosen today as the starting point of Wiley Post’s projected ten-day round-the-world flight, scheduled for early in May. Post, flying the plane with which he won a non-stop race from the West Coast to Chicago, at the beginning of the national air races last year, will be accompanied by Harold Gatty, Los Angeles, as navigator. The flight is being financed by F.C. Hall, oil man. The itinerary, approximately 16,000 miles, is: Oklahoma City, Cleveland Harbor Grace, Berlin, Moscow, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk, Nome, Seattle, Oklahoma City. |
