(Top) New Well To Be Started At Edge of Town —— Hall and Briscoe Location Is North of Pavement On East Avenue G. —— I.T.I.O. Sells Its Oil —— New Transport To Run To Crescent-Lovell Area, Logan County. —— Capital Hill will have an oil test almost within its confines, when Hall and Briscoe, independents of Chickasha, start work on their No. 1 Janette Lewis Holmes, in SE of 10-11-3w. Work is to start immediately and operators hope to spud within ten days. Location is just north of the pavement on Est Avenue G, and just outside the city limits. The tract is one of the few in that section of the county which is not platted. Announcement of this location followed a series of fast trades by the intrepid pair. The lease purchased after the I.T.I.O.-Foster gusher blew in Tuesday. Title was cleared and the deal closed immediately. Hall and Briscoe then flew back to Chickasha in the Lockheed cabin plane, thence to Amarillo, Texas, and returned to Chickasha late wednes- day night.
